YMCA Camp: Silver Creek

Tucked deep within Oregon's Silver Falls State Park, Camp Silver Creek is a traditional overnight camp that has been operating since 1938. The camp invites kids to unplug, explore nature, and build confidence through classic camp experiences. They offer various sessions including traditional weeklong camps for boys and girls, shorter sessions for first-time campers, teen leadership programs (Leaders-In-Training), and BOLD & GOLD wilderness backpacking adventures. The programs are designed to help campers grow in spirit, mind, and body through outdoor challenges, teamwork, and shared experiences in the fresh air and towering trees.

Camp Silver Creek is operated by the Family YMCA of Marion & Polk Counties, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The YMCA is dedicated to providing programs that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Camp Silver Creek is also ACA (American Camp Association) accredited, ensuring it meets high standards for safety, programming, and operations.
